This full-time position performs a range of program activities in support of respite services, family empowerment services, and adaptive skills training delivery; assists in training and supporting intermittent program staff; performs related work as assigned.
A typical way to obtain the knowledge and skills required for the Program Specialist – Special Needs Services position is by having two years’ college-level coursework in a related field and two years of experience working in a social service agency. Experience with developmental disabilities is preferred.
Requires DOJ/FBI Criminal Background Check and driving record consistent with insurance company requirements. Starts at $21.79/hour. Next Review 8/1/25.
This full-time position provides support to children, youth, and families in a variety of settings including home, school, and community consistent with identified therapeutic needs; provides 1:1 behavior coaching in the home, school, or community; provides referral and linkage to community resources; provides parent education and support as directed; performs related work as assigned.
The Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, child development, or a related field and four years’ work experience with children, youth and families. A Master’s degree will substitute one completed year of education for one year of work experience. An Associate’s degree in one of the above fields and six years of work experience will be considered.

The Visitation Monitor position requires minimum of two years of work experience with children, youth, and families or two years of experience working in a social service agency. A high school diploma is required. Completion of two years of college with course work in child development, social welfare, sociology, social work, or other behavioral science is preferred.

This intermittent position serves as a personal attendant to provide care and supervision of children or adults who have developmental disabilities, including but not limited to: autism, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy. Performs work in family residences or, as approved, in community settings.
The Respite Worker position requires knowledge of autism and other developmental disabilities, appropriate responses when an individual is exhibiting behavior which may pose a danger to themself or others, personal self-care and domestic skills, and how to effectively care for individuals in their homes. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Requires DOJ/FBI Criminal Background Check and may require driving record consistent with insurance company requirements. Starts at $17.31/hour plus mileage reimbursement. OPEN UNTIL FILLED.
