Parent Supports

Being a parent is one of the biggest jobs in life. Changing Tides Family Services offers a range of programs that can help. We are also on the look out to offer new services or workshops that can help parents be the best they can.

Our services include:

  • Parenting classes—these are offered periodically, depending upon demand and resources available
  • One on one, community support to parents who have a developmental disability
  • One on one support to parents who have just learned that their child has a disability or is at risk of having one
  • Help to parents to obtain health insurance for their children
  • Consultation in person or on the phone to discuss parents’ concerns about how their child is developing and resources for children and families
